JD - Chief AI Officer

Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:

We are seeking an innovative Chief Data/AI Officer with expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to lead our data and AI-driven strategy. This role will focus on leveraging cutting-edge technologies in image and video computer vision (CV) and 3D reconstruction, particularly in real-time applications for field environments such as job site scanning. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in AI and machine learning, with hands-on experience in using generative AI and machine learning algorithms to automatically generate 3D models from scanned environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ● Data & AI Strategy Leadership:

    • ○  Develop and implement a comprehensive data and AI strategy that aligns

      with the organization’s vision and business goals.

    • ○  Lead initiatives around data governance, security, and compliance, ensuring

      high standards across the organization.

    • ○  Identify opportunities to apply AI and machine learning for business growth,

      operational efficiency, and innovative product development.

    • ○  Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and product teams to integrate AI and 3D

      reconstruction capabilities into product offerings.

  • ● 3D Field Real-Time Reconstruction & AI Innovation:

    • ○  Lead projects focused on real-time 3D reconstruction from image and video data, using advanced AI techniques and machine learning algorithms.

    • ○  Oversee the development of systems for scanning job sites and automatically generating 3D models, leveraging generative AI for high-accuracy, real-time rendering.

    • ○  Drive research and deployment of AI/ML models for computer vision, object recognition, motion tracking, and 3D modeling in real-world environments.

    • ○  Ensure scalability and robustness of AI systems, focusing on real-time data processing and accurate field-level performance.

  • ● Data Architecture & Infrastructure:

    • ○  Design and optimize the data infrastructure to support AI and 3D

      reconstruction applications, ensuring high-quality data pipelines for real-time

      processing.

    • ○  Work with engineering teams to build scalable, cloud-based AI infrastructure

      that supports complex data sets and real-time analytics.

  • ● Team Leadership & Development:

    • ○  Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data scientists, AI researchers, and machine learning engineers.

    • ○  Foster a culture of continuous innovation, encouraging the team to explore new AI technologies, tools, and methodologies.

○ Ensure professional development within the team, keeping up with the latest advancements in AI, generative AI, and 3D reconstruction.

  • ● Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

    • ○  Act as a key advisor to the executive team on AI, machine learning, and

      data-driven strategies that can drive business growth and innovation.

    • ○  Present AI/ML project outcomes, insights, and business impact to senior

      leadership and stakeholders.

    • ○  Engage with external partners and industry leaders to stay at the forefront of

      AI and machine learning advancements.

  • ● Innovation & Emerging Technologies:

    • ○  Stay ahead of industry trends, especially in AI, machine learning, computer vision, and 3D field applications.

    • ○  Drive experimentation with generative AI technologies, ensuring the company leads in real-time 3D reconstruction and visualization from job site scans.

    • ○  Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, and AI leaders in the field.

      Qualifications:

  • ●  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or related fields. Ph.D. is a plus.

  • ●  4+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, and data science, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.

  • ●  Expertise in real-time 3D reconstruction, generative AI, and machine learning algorithms for image and video CV.

  • ●  Proven experience in developing AI models and systems for field scanning and automatic 3D model generation.

  • ●  Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, and 3D modeling tools.

  • ●  Strong background in deep learning, computer vision, and advanced analytics.

  • ●  Experience designing and implementing large-scale AI systems, particularly for

    real-time processing of image and video data.

  • ●  Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

    Preferred Skills:

  • ●  Experience with augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), or neural rendering technologies.

  • ●  Familiarity with cloud-based AI infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

  • ●  Experience in construction, architecture, or related fields involving real-time scanning

    and 3D modeling.
